Ron Maher is a seasoned professional in the flooring industry, with over 40 years of experience under his belt. Starting out as a helper in Chicago, Ron honed his skills in Hardwood and vinyl flooring installation before serving in the US Army. Upon his return, Ron continued his education in the industry, learning from his eldest brother and eventually joining the carpenter's union in New York City. In 1996, Ron made the move to Phoenix and established his own business, New Interior Finishes. Over the past three decades, Ron has built a reputation for excellence, developing and training a skilled in-house crew of installers and helpers.
Unlike many in Arizona, Ron's business is unique in that it employs W2 employees, ensuring quality and professionalism in every project. With a dedication to superior craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, Ron continues to lead New Interior Finishes with integrity and expertise.
MICHAEL MAHER
PRODUCTION MANAGER
Michael Maher is a dedicated professional with almost 20 years of experience in the flooring industry. Starting out as a helper on the installation crew for his father's company in 2004, Michael quickly developed a passion for the business. Through hard work and determination, he has risen through the ranks to become the Production Manager at New Interior Finishes. In his current role, Michael is responsible for overseeing all in-house crew and projects, ensuring that every job is completed to the highest standard. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence have earned him a reputation as a reliable and trustworthy leader in the industry.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, working on vehicles and riding his motorcycle. With his wealth of experience and passion for his work, Michael Maher is dedicated to providing top-quality service and exceeding customer expectations.
John Kucera
TEAM MEMBER
John Kucera is a seasoned professional in the flooring industry with over three decades of experience. Starting in the 80's in a warehouse, John quickly transitioned into retail sales, honing his skills and knowledge in the field. In 1995, he made the move to Phoenix, Arizona, where he continued to excel in sales working for reputable companies like Carpetime and Baker Bros. In 2005, John decided to broaden his expertise by shifting to the installation side of the business, specializing in hardwood and tile flooring for both commercial and residential projects. His dedication to quality and attention to detail have earned him a strong reputation in the industry.
Currently, John is a valuable member of the New Interior Finishes team, where he brings his wealth of experience to the table, handling sales and overseeing the production department. With a passion for providing exceptional customer service and delivering top-notch results, John continues to thrive and make a significant impact in the flooring industry.

Unlike many other contractors in the state of Arizona, all of our tradesmen are in-house W-2 employees, not subcontractors. Subcontractors will often show up when they want, move as slow as they feel, and deliver sub-par workmanship, since they are independent from the organization hiring them. At New Interior Finishes however, as employees, our tradesmen are required to arrive on time, stay as long as necessary, and give only their best work.
